Taught my class some sign language
Our teacher hadn't turned up to the lesson as she was ill so I spontaneously decided to teach them all some basic sign language. I taught them some simple sentences and most of the sign language alphabet (the bits I could remember!)Tiramisu
My mum's taught me her secret tiramisu recipe and helped me make it over the weekend. I have to say it was the best tiramisu I've ever tasted in my life! And I did enjoy spending an hour in the kitchen with my mum.First aid course
I did a first aid course a few months ago and found the course itself very fun. I feel good about being able to perform basic first aid and sometimes secretly wish that people around me so I could perform first aid on them :)This cropped up in discussion the other day (we were talking about which songs to sing while doing CPR, you'll know what I mean if you've done a course!) and I managed to convince a few of my friends to give it a go and they are now going to sign up for a course over the holidays.
Student Voice
Student Voice at HHS as nearly 30% of our students that are actively involved in the running of the school and thier education. Their roles as mentors, educators, guides, members of interview panels and researchers have had a massive impact. Members of our Student Voice spoke on the main stage at the SSAT National Conference in November 2008/2009. They play an essential role in our Primary Partner Schools in working with the next generations of Harrogate High School students. Their reputation continues to grow and the work they are doing within the family of schools is both exciting and ground breaking. Our presentation at plashet school
we had shown a presentation to all the year 7 form groups in plashet, and to 1 year 8 form. it was really enjoyable, but was also quite nerve-wrecking because it was in front of such a big group. overall i think it went really well!!nice

I officially tell the worst jokes, but they are still pretty hilariousTime for a change...
Well all my old toys were just in boxes in my room, so I decided that i would give them all away. So i gave most of them to charity :) and my rooms a lot clearer which is always good, more space for clothes and shoes :)
